An organizer needs to identify tournaments while retaining a single history for groups reused in mirrors or repeated tests. Provide tournament selection and local naming in material forms.

Acceptance criteria

  • Editors can find and select rating-service tournaments for reusable material. Material can reference several tournaments or none.
  • Unpublished or unlinked tournaments can use local records and manually entered names.
  • Each group keeps its own editable title. Tournament names may prefill it, but external refreshes never silently rename it.
  • Tests inherit tournament associations through their selected reusable material. A mirror does not require duplicating the same blocks and their history.
  • Reusable composition supports the accepted blocks, rounds, and packages model instead of assuming one flat question set per tournament.
  • Cached external metadata remains distinguishable from a successful fresh lookup. External failure does not prevent manual local material use.
  • The integration does not fetch player participation history, infer familiarity from tournament results, or claim attribution proves account ownership.

Validation

Check one block reused in two tournaments and an unlinked package. Simulate external failure and a tournament rename. Assert retained titles, shared history, and usable local creation. Verify the adapter's actual read permissions and response contract against official documentation during implementation.
